If you’re craving authentic Armenian and Syrian food in New Jersey, make your way to Nouri’s Restaurant in Paterson. This family-owned Mediterranean hotspot, led by owner George Nouri, has been winning over locals with bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and warm hospitality.
We started with the Egg Pasterma Boat, a massive, freshly baked specialty that’s unlike anything else — rich, savory, and packed with flavor. Then came the Nouri Mixed Grill, loaded with juicy kofta kebab, chicken kebab, and filet mignon. Every bite was perfectly seasoned and tender.

Fresh out of the oven, the Armenian-style Lahmajun was thin, crispy, and delicious, while the Nouri Burger added a Mediterranean twist to a classic favorite. The Hummus with Meat and Nuts was creamy and hearty, and the Syrian Fattoush Salad brought a refreshing balance to the table.

To end the meal, we went sweet with the Mouhalabiyeh Rice Pudding and Shabiyet Cheese Baklava — both the perfect finish to an incredible feast.
With its authentic recipes, family-run charm, and unforgettable dishes, Nouri’s Restaurant is easily one of the best Mediterranean restaurants in Paterson NJ — a true celebration of Armenian and Syrian flavors.
